grief needs not be a lifetime of sorrow or regret

but rather a letting go, saying goodbye
to people or chapters of our lives
honoring the best and the good
forgiving the transgressions
healing and moving on with the business of living
having been enriched or enlightened by the person or experience

Source of Inspiration

Let grief transmute
to gratitude for a beautiful
life, thankful for the time
we share with one whom we loved.

Nina's Garden

Dear Readers

I would like you to know what I have found helpful in my recovery process so far:

1. relearn how to communicate with people.

2. change my diet to a vegetarian/raw food diet – for the health, ethical and carbon footprint reasons. Since February, 2012: lost 70 pounds and many inches. no longer need diabetic medicines, and I was an insulin taking type 2 Diabetic.

3. reduce the stress in my life and I have divorced the spouse that was once talked about on these pages, and I mention this, as everything on the internet is permanent in one place or another. so really a blogger tip: be careful what you post, eh?

Nina Tryggvason

in the best physical shape of my adult life at 44.

Source of Inspiration

Where and what is my mission?
Why am I here? Who am I? Age
old pondering of too few people.

Let simplicity be your guide.
You need not pray for the whole
world when your neighbor needs
help. Let your service be where
your destiny has cast you. Points
of light are needed everywhere.
