Living Well

Struggle is not weakness,
but rather a soul striving.
Do not underestimate me for
I will endure long after
that which challenges me
and makes me stronger.

I am part of the audience,
yet I write the play and
am both the hero and villain.
As we move through life, we
assume all roles to enable us
to learn compassion.

Now a murderer on the gallows,
an unwed mother, a crippled beggar
on the street, a king, a saint;
each experience life from a
different point of view. I am a
pampered pet, an abandoned
dog, fox in the wild, mosquito on
your arm. For until I can feel
what you feel, I have not finished
this school of life.

People come into our lives
that we’ve always known,
even though we just met them.
The old question of predestination
is intriguing. Reincarnation and
spiritual contracts before we
incarnate are but two ideas of
why these encounters occur.

Whatever the cause, when one meets
these kindred spirits, one knows
that they have come into our lives
for an important purpose. Honor
this relationship and treat it
with loving respect for this soul
is bound to you in some profound
way that only time will reveal.

The magical, unmeasurable power
of curiosity is the gateway to
universal wisdom that comes
packaged in individuality.
Think, create, manifest,
do it again. It is who we are.
