Source of Inspiration

Leslie Green wrote a stunning article on the importance of being present in one’s daily life.

How often we miss the beauty and intricacies of life by not paying attention to what is going on around us.

That being said, I also find myself moving into other realities while engaged in this one. This disassociation is intriguing, if somewhat disconcerting. Actually, this is not new for me. I have experienced it since I was a child. Some call it “day dreaming,” and it is rather like this, but these states can be much more that what we experience with driving, understress, etc. One can lose track of time, function, yet clearly our mind is not present. What is going on when this happens? Where do we “go?” How do we return to the old knowledge of walking between worlds yet functioning appropriately in our daily lives?
