True.. but why can’t things just be easy? I’d rather be blissfully ignorant and float through life without pain at this moment..

we wouldn’t appreciate things if they were easy

without things sometimes being hard, we’d have no basis for comparison

the human experience is about novelty and a wide range of emotions

we occupy a lot of habitat niches and have created a dramatic range in cultures

ignorance is surely bliss because you end up missing out on all the other emotions that really give the blissful and joyous times their context, and thus create the value and meaning
