People say, “You can’t have it all!” But this isn’t true. I have been blessed with a life abundant in experiences that have opened my eyes to the perfection of life.

“Well, then, you did not suffer,” some might say, “You didn’t go hungry, experience war, or any of the other calamities of life. You were born in the US, a land of privilege.”

We all suffer regardless of material position. Everyone has a story of sorrow. Yet I have come to learn that each experience moves us forward in our understanding of our purpose in life. We do not always see the connections, but when one looks at the tapestry of life, each event forms an integral part of the picture.
