Anti-perspirants vs Deodorant

Posted on: July 6, 2012

while this is a controversial claim, preventing your body from function is probably not the best idea.

we sweat for a variety of reasons and our skin is the largest organ – covering the outside of our bodies and is the digestive system – it absorbs what comes in to contact with it from nutrition to chemicals and it respires – needing both air and secreting water.

deodorants do not prevent sweat, they just reduce the odor associated with sweating – and unless you have a heavy perspiration problem being damp and changing your clothes is far less a health risk than using chemicals on parts of your body that are most absorbing….

instead of using chemicals – regardless of their potential for cancers, but simple toxicity – try a healthier and natural alternative.
